Sunday March 17, One day somatic retreat in Warburton in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
In Somatics a greater emphasis is placed on the “felt experience” than on conceptual thinking and ideas. In this way we develop an inner landscape of who we are (interoception) and we are increasing in self-awareness. It is like coming home after a very long journey, there is a spontaneous sigh of relief, a felt sense of ease. From this deep relaxation an embodied awareness follows and we enter into the state of somatic meditation naturally. The group is open to all who are interested in Somatic yoga, movement and meditation. On this day we are focusing on Alignment and in particular that of the internal organs, their form, function and feelings. We spend time to explore the guts and the connections to feelings of contentment and the self and in particular bringing our attention to the large intestine and its relationship to continuum and letting go, continuum and the experience of loss.
Date Sunday : March 17, time: 10.30am — 6.00pm, cost: $150 Bookings: firstname.lastname@example.org
